Hi there, I’d recommend looking for a Traxxas E-Maxx. You’re already familiar with the Revo and the E-Maxx is basically built on a T-Maxx chassis.
Why I say this:
2 550 brushless motors (no more brush replacements = save $)
The dual motors mean more power (14.4v), though it takes two 6-cell batteries.
Most have a hi/low shifter on the radio, though I have heard newer ones are a one speed which also seems nice. You win either way.
The top speed is around 33+ mph if I remember correctly
They are a blast to drive, incredibly durable, super fast for an off road electric, and easy to find upgrades and spare parts for since it is a popular model and shares the chassis design with the T-Maxx.
Check a new/used one out on eBay perhaps. You could probably find a nice one for under your target range.
Or, if you like kit building, you can find a Tamiya Super Clodbuster online about anywhere for ~$220. I own one and it is pretty nifty also, but a little slower and older tech. (depends on what you like)
–Hope this helps your saga and good luck.
Hi There,
If you want a fun rc car I can reccomend the Acme Firewolf 1/16th brushless buggy or truggy.
They have a brushless motor and a 11.1v lithium battery and do over 40mph as standard! They are pretty awesome! They cost around £125.
Thanks
